explorer and traveller, Ibn Battuta, has often been quoted as one of the greatest travellers in human history. His voyage has often been seen as the longest in pre-modern history, spanning some 117,000 km across Asia, Africa, and Europe, covering most Islamic nations at that time. His journeys were, longer than his precedents including Zheng He and Marco Polo. In his latter days, he detailed his journey in a travelogue, often quoted as &#8216;The Rihle,&#8217; entitled &#8216;A Masterpiece to Those Who Contemplate the Wonders of Cities and the Marvels of Travelling.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s where the name Wonders Initiatives comes from. Throughout history, humankind often has a dream to create, experience, and explore different wonders in life. It might be travelling, as Ibn Battuta has described. It could be in careers, it could be in relationships, or it could be in various other aspects. However, for many, creating such an environment is nothing but a dream. It takes multiple and continuous efforts, hard work, and luck to achieve those. Many experience regrets, failures, and difficulties, which makes them consider wonders in life something unachievable.<\/p>\n<p>But we are here to help. Established in 2022 by a group of enthusiastic entrepreneurs, social venturers, artists, and education workers, we are\u00a0a platform for our next generation, artists, technocrats, education workers and public, to discover and experience various wonders in their lives. Through promotion and development of art, technology, and education, we offer opportunities for them to achieve their dreams\u00a0through our resources.\u00a0Our mission is to bridge art and technology divide for our next generations, and raise awareness among the public about the importance of art and education,\u00a0and how that knowledge will benefit Hong Kong society.<\/p>\n<p>We understand that dreams vary, and achieving such could be challenging. But, one step can open the door to a new world; through making use of our minor resources, we hope that we can at least do something to help even just a little kid to realize his dreams, and we believe that this would be spread forward, and more people would be benefited.<\/p>\n<p>The time is here; the chance is now.
